WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE\/WYOU) \u2014 Despite a seven hit game from Scranton\/Wilkes-Barre, the Railriders came up empty-handed in Saturday\u2019s game falling to the Syracuse Mets 5-0.<\/p>\n

Syracuse would get started in the bottom of the first inning as JiHwan Bae shot a solo homer to get things rolling for the Mets.<\/p>\n

In the bottom of the third, the Mets #4 prospect Ryan Clifford would crush a two run homer to extend the Mets\u2019 lead to 3-0.<\/p>\n

The Mets<\/a> added one in the sixth off an RBI double from Christian Pache, and in the seventh a wild pitch from Scranton\/Wilkes-Barre would make it a 5-0 Syracuse ball game.<\/p>\n

The Railriders are back in action on Sunday for their final game in this Mini Subway Series. First pitch is set for 1:05 p.m.<\/p>\n
