The country superstar sparked buzz after multiple videos began to surface, showing the “Whiskey Glasses” artist grabbing a security guard’s phone and tossing it into the crowd while performing in Pittsburgh on Friday<\/a> night. The moment quickly made the rounds on social media, with fans debating whether Wallen was frustrated by the device or the fact that a paid security guard was recording like a fan.<\/p>\n According to one report from Country Hub<\/a>, however, the security guard may have been asked by a nearby fan to record a better view on the fan’s phone.<\/p>\n Either way, video shows the “Thinkin’ Bout Me” singer walking over mid-song and waving at the camera. Just five seconds later, he walks back to the same camera and snatches it from the female security guard’s hands at Acrisure Stadium.<\/p>\n Fans with tickets to night two in Pittsburgh didn’t get to record at all, as the country artist canceled the show due to poor weather. However, as many fans revealed online, “the sun [was] shining.”<\/a><\/p>\n “That was the information I had in that moment, and I trusted my team,” Wallen explained. “I understand that the wind and whatever else hasn’t gotten to Pittsburgh yet. But the truth of the matter is, I have a large stage that in those conditions could become fatal to a lot of folks around it.
