Waldameer & Water World is expanding its coaster lineup with Eagle\u2019s Pursuit, a new family launch coaster set to open for the 2027 season and designed to mimic the speed and grace of an eagle in flight.<\/p>\n
The park says the ride will weave through its lakefront hillside, using the natural terrain to create the sensation of soaring over trees and diving toward the ground. The coaster features two launches, sweeping turns, unexpected drops and rapid directional changes. In total, the layout includes 16 track elements, 18 direction changes and 10 floater\u2011airtime moments.<\/p>\n
Built directly into the hillside, the ride begins with a launch out of the station that sends trains diving into the valley before a second mid\u2011course launch propels riders back uphill for a fast, airtime\u2011filled finale.<\/p>\n

With a minimum height requirement of 38 inches, the coaster is designed to be accessible to younger riders while still offering enough speed and movement to appeal to thrill\u2011seekers.<\/p>\n
