(KTRE) \u2014 Former Central Heights Blue Devil Duke Ellis hit a home run in Scranton\u2019s 4-0 win over Syracuse on Friday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Batting eighth and starting in center field, the 28-year-old batted 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Ellis hit a one-run, two-out triple in the second inning and a solo home run in the fifth inning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Through 40 games this season, Ellis has two home runs, three triples, nine RBIs and a .248 batting average.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Scranton-Wilkes-Barre (31-29) is in fifth place in the International League East.
