LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA \u2014 Bridge and road construction is planned throughout the week on the Route 1 Traffic Improvements Project, PennDOT said.<\/p>\n
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said the work falls under a $116 million project to reconstruct, widen, and improve a three-mile section of Route 1 in Bensalem and Middletown townships.<\/p>\n
Drivers are advised of the following travel restrictions:<\/p>\n
Sunday, Sept. 21, through Friday, Sept. 26, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning, lane closures will be in place on U.S. 1 in both directions between Fairhill Avenue and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Interchange<\/a> for bridge deck sealing.
