WELL, NEW THIS MORNING, WHILE RESPONDING ON SOCIAL MEDIA ABOUT THE BACKLASH HE\u2019S GETTING FROM SOME PEOPLE, POINTING OUT THE STORM WOULD HAVE PASSED BY THE TIME HE GOT ON STAGE. MY TEAM WALKED ON MY BUS, TOLD ME THAT THEY HAD BEEN CONSULTING WITH LOCAL OFFICIALS AND THAT I SHOULD CANCEL MY SHOW IN PITTSBURGH TONIGHT. AND I SAID, WHY? THEY SAID THAT THERE WAS GOING TO BE STRONG WINDS IN THE AREA, AND I SAID, OKAY. SO THAT\u2019S WHAT I DID. AND THAT WAS THE INFORMATION I HAD IN THE MOMENT. THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER IS I HAVE A LARGE STAGE THAT IN THOSE CONDITIONS COULD BECOME FATAL TO A LOT OF FOLKS AROUND IT. \n\t\t\t\t\t\tAlco Parking said it will be refunding people who purchased parking in advance for Saturday’s canceled Morgan Wallen concert. Officials with the company said the parking had to be bought directly from Alco Parking to get a refund and not from a reseller, like StubHub. The money will be issued to the credit card used to purchase the advance parking. Wallen canceled Saturday’s concert at Acrisure Stadium due to “severe adverse weather conditions expected” in the city of Pittsburgh.He later took to social media to explain the decision which was made around four hours prior to the start of the concert:”My team walked on my bus, told me they had been consulting local officials and that I should cancel my show in Pittsburgh tonight,” Wallen said in a post late Saturday. “And I said, ‘Why?’ They said that there were going to be strong winds in the area. And I said, ‘Okay.’ That was the information I had at the moment.”He continued, saying, “The truth of the matter is, I have a large stage that, in those conditions, could become fatal to a lot of folks around it.
