A Scranton man is accused of pointing a handgun at the head of another man on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n
About 5 a.m., city officers were called to 1549 Van Storch Ave., for a man who had broken into a residence with a firearm, according to police.<\/p>\n
Once there, they spoke with Keith Rose, who told them he had been getting ready for work when Andre Ransome broke into the residence, pointed a pistol at his head and ordered him to leave.<\/p>\n
Rose told officers Amber Zvolensky had been at the residence with him and was still in the house with Ransome.<\/p>\n
Rose provided officers with Zvolensky\u2019s phone number and they called her several times until she answered.<\/p>\n
Police asked her to come to the front door and when she did Ransome, 37, also came outside to the porch and was arrested.<\/p>\n
Officers then spoke privately with Zvolensky who said had been in a relationship with Ransome and provided him with a key to her house.<\/p>\n
She told officers he had pulled a handgun on her and Rose. She told officers she believed the gun was still inside the residence near an end table.<\/p>\n
Officers went inside and found the firearm under a couch cushion near the end table Zvolensky had described.<\/p>\n
Police also found drug paraphernalia on Ransome during a search.<\/p>\n
A criminal history indicated Ransome was not allowed to possess a firearm because of a previous offense.<\/p>\n
He is charged with felony aggravated assault, making terroristic threats, assault,\u00a0 endangering others and possession of paraphernalia.<\/p>\n
He remains in Lackawanna County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail.<\/p>\n
