{"id":215385,"date":"2026-06-10T10:05:10","date_gmt":"2026-06-10T10:05:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/215385\/"},"modified":"2026-06-10T10:05:10","modified_gmt":"2026-06-10T10:05:10","slug":"psp-horses-visit-seniors-at-retirement-home-in-whitehall-allentown-area","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/215385\/","title":{"rendered":"PSP horses visit seniors at retirement home in Whitehall | Allentown Area"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. &#8211; Lehigh County seniors met special members of the Pennsylvania State Police Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>PSP horses Bo and Chip visited Fellowship Community retirement home in Whitehall Township.<\/p>\n<p>Mounted troopers talked about why they&#8217;re important to the force.<\/p>\n<p>They said the horses help with crowd control at big events, like the upcoming FIFA World Cup games in Philly.<\/p>\n<p>Organizers said the residents enjoy visits like this.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s a nice visit. They learn things that they didn&#8217;t know, and they have the utmost respect for our community, the people that serve,&#8221; says Kim Cseh, activities director at Fellowship Community.<\/p>\n<p>The residents will see the troopers again later this year.<\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;ll bring Christmas treats to the barracks as a thank-you for everything they do.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. &#8211; Lehigh County seniors met special members of the Pennsylvania State Police Tuesday.
