Crews were dispatched to the scene of a working house fire in the 100 block of Overhill Road in Upper Darby just after 3 p.m. Tuesday<\/p>\n
Radio traffic indicated the first arriving units reported heavy smoke showing from the rear of the two story twin home.<\/p>\n
Pump operators\u00a0 requested police to shut down traffic on Chestnut Street as a supply hose line was spread across the street<\/p>\n
Units in the rear reported heavy fire coming out the rear with propane involved.<\/p>\n
Within 10 minutes crews had much of the fire extinguished. Crews were being requested to open up walls to check for hidden fire in the walls.<\/p>\n
The fire was placed under control at 3:38 p.m.<\/p>\n
