As severe storms made their way through parts of the 69 News region Saturday night, some residents found themselves without power.<\/p>\n

Pennsylvania<\/p>\n

Around 10:30 p.m., Met-Ed\u2019s outage map<\/a> showed that 1,400 customers lost power in Berks County. Just over 1,000 customers in Montgomery County and more than 1,000 in Northampton County were also in the dark.<\/p>\n

PPL also showed outages,<\/a> with more than 3,400 in Carbon County; 2,500 in Monroe County; and 3,000 in Northampton County.<\/p>\n

New Jersey<\/p>\n

In Warren County, New Jersey, more than 2,900 customers were without power from Jersey Central Power & Light, a FirstEnergy company. In Hunterdon County, 3,800 customers were in the dark.<\/p>\n

Report outages<\/p>\n

Customers have a few options to report that their power is out.<\/p>\n

For PPL customers, text “outage” to “TXTPPL” or report on the PPL website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

For FirstEnergy customers (Met-Ed and Jersey Central Power & Light), text \u201cOUT\u201d to 544487 (\u201cLIGHTS\u201d) or visit the Met-Ed website<\/a>.<\/p>\n
