{"id":216003,"date":"2026-06-10T23:50:10","date_gmt":"2026-06-10T23:50:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/216003\/"},"modified":"2026-06-10T23:50:10","modified_gmt":"2026-06-10T23:50:10","slug":"newsmaker-sarah-morrison-talks-emtas-14th-fest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/216003\/","title":{"rendered":"Newsmaker: Sarah Morrison talks EMTA\u2019s 14th Fest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A family-friendly festival is returning for the fifth year in a row.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority will host its annual 14th Fest on Thursday, June 11 from 5 to 10 p.m. along 14th Street.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Sarah Morrison, director of marketing and public relations for EMTA, explained how the event celebrates the Erie community.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cThis is a really special event for us, we host it every year,\u201d Morrison said. \u201cIt\u2019s just a really fun way for EMTA to give back to the community, open up summer in downtown with our friends at the Downtown Partnership, and really just kick off things.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The event will feature live music, food trucks and activities as well as a ceremony at 5 p.m. recognizing the 60th year of EMTA in Erie.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Admission is free.
