The statute explicitly forbids municipalities to tax the \u201cmembership dues, fees or assessments\u201d for nonprofit organizations, including \u201cgolf and tennis clubs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is no dispute that the Clubs are not-for-profit social clubs.
