An investigation is underway, police said, after a man was killed in a shooting that happened in the morning hours of Thursday in Philly’s Cedarbrook section. <\/p>\n
According to police, the incident happened at about 9:42 a.m. along the 8200 block of Forrest Avenue. <\/p>\n
Officers responding to a reported shooting found a man in the street after the shooting and took him to a nearby hospital where, officials said, he was pronounced at about 9:42 a.m. <\/p>\n
No arrests were immediatly made and, officials said, no weapon was recovered. <\/p>\n
Also, police did not immediately provide further information on the victim, nor did they discuss how the incident occurred or detail any suspects in this case. <\/p>\n
But, officials said, an investigation is currently underway. <\/p>\n
