\n\t\t\t\t\t\tA father is facing charges for allegedly leaving two young children inside a locked car while getting a massage.Officers received a report of two children in a red Dodge Dart in the area of Glenn’s Frozen Custard in Springdale. When an officer arrived to the area, he said he found the car with a 5-year-old boy who was awake and a 6-month-old girl who appeared to be red and possibly unresponsive.According to the criminal complaint, the windows of the vehicle were down around three inches and the doors were locked. The officer on scene said when the boy was unable to unlock the door, he reached inside the vehicle, which activated the alarm.The officer was able to open the door, immediately requested aid, and made sure the infant was breathing. While on scene, officers saw Jerry Rempuszewski leaving Golden Wellness Body Work Massage on Pittsburgh Street.Rempuszewski allegedly told officers he was getting the children ice cream. He was placed into handcuffs and taken into custody.The children were treated at the scene by first responders and taken to a hospital. Authorities contacted the mother of the two children who had been dropped off at work by Rempuszewski earlier in the day. Surveillance video captured Rempuszewski entering the massage parlor and leaving the children alone in the vehicle for around 36 minutes. Staff at the parlor told authorities he had walked in without an appointment and asked for a 30 minute massage. It is believed the temperature inside the vehicle was over 100 degrees. Rempuszewski is facing charges of leaving an unattended child in a motor vehicle and recklessly endangering another person.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
