Dormont Arts and the Borough of Dormont will unveil a new seasonal art installation by Pittsburgh multimedia artist Joshua Ruffing at Hillsdale Park on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. <\/p>\n
The art installation, \u201cThe Wizard\u2019s Looking Glass Court\u201d will be on view each year from April through October.<\/p>\n
Ruffing is a Pittsburgh native with over 30 years of experience in painting, illustration, and metal sculpture. Drawing inspiration from beloved fantasy tales such as \u201cAlice in Wonderland\u201d and \u201cThe Wizard of Oz,\u201d the installation features towering metal flowers and whimsical creatures, ranging from four to eight feet tall, crafted from metal and paint.<\/p>\n
Following the unveiling, an afterparty is planned at nearby Back Alley Brewing.<\/p>\n
