(WJET\/WFXP)\u2013 The Erie man charged two years ago with supplying pills that led to a fatal overdose has been found guilty.<\/p>\n

The Erie County District Attorney’s Office announced 27-year-old Stewart Correll<\/a> of Erie was found guilty of drug delivery resulting in death, criminal use of a communication facility, and other charges.<\/p>\n

Correll was accused of supplying two M30 pills to 23-year-old Corey Sadzewicz, who was found dead in his Millcreek home on May 19, 2023, with the Erie County Coroner’s Office later determining he died of fentanyl toxicity.<\/p>\n

Online court records show Correll’s trial started on June 1, with Correll facing felony drug delivery resulting in death, criminal use of a communication facility and manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to deliver, along with two misdemeanor drug charges.<\/p>\n

During the 10-day trial, prosecutors said Correll had texted the victim the evening of the fatal overdose, which they said proved he provided the deadly pills.<\/p>\n

His sentencing is tentatively scheduled for August 10 before Judge William Cunningham.<\/p>\n
