{"id":217552,"date":"2026-06-12T16:11:08","date_gmt":"2026-06-12T16:11:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/217552\/"},"modified":"2026-06-12T16:11:08","modified_gmt":"2026-06-12T16:11:08","slug":"lehigh-valley-drive-in-to-offer-1-hot-dogs-2-burgers-for-60th-anniversary-celebration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/217552\/","title":{"rendered":"Lehigh Valley drive-in to offer $1 hot dogs, $2 burgers for 60th anniversary celebration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Lehigh Valley drive-in restaurant will celebrate 60 years of family ownership this weekend with $1 hot dogs, $2 burgers and other specials while supplies last.<\/p>\n<p>Richard\u2019s Drive-In will host the celebration 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at 2700 Freemansburg Ave. in Palmer Township, co-owner Eve Gouskos said.<\/p>\n<p>Other offerings will include fries for $2.50, medium sodas for $1.75, small ice cream cones for $2 and thin milkshakes for $3. The Cat Country 96 radio station will also give out IronPigs tickets as prizes.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mcall.com\/2003\/01\/01\/richard-g-presutti\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Richard G. Presutti<\/a> founded Richard\u2019s Drive-In in 1959.<\/p>\n<p>Gouskos said that her father and uncle, Theodore Kastrinakis and Nikitas Papageorgiou, purchased the business in 1966.
