The pair were in a car when they were approached by two men who tried to rob them. Iwanejko allegedly refused to give them money. Authorities say a struggle happened between the group, leading to Iwanejko being killed by one of the men. The woman who Iwanejko was on the date with ran into a nearby wooded area where she remained all night. When dawn came, authorities say she contacted State Police. Authorities describe the suspect who killed Iwanejko as a white man who was around 22 at the time of the killing. He had a thin build and long, dark, curly hair. That man was around 5 feet 6 inches tall and 130 pounds with a thin build.The second suspect was described as a white man around 24 years old at the time, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 190 pounds with a heavy build and medium-length brown hair. Authorities now say leads have developed into the case but did not say what those leads were.
