Learn how butterflies, bees, squirrels, lilies, roses and more work together in the pollination process while also symbolizing diligence, transformation, and divine work as shown in the gothic artistry of Heinz Chapel and its adjacent English garden.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThis Pollinators in the Light tour starts in the chapel\u2019s English garden and moves to the magnificent stained glass windows inside and a chance to hear the chapel\u2019s pipe organ.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tFree for Pitt students, faculty and staff. $5 general admission. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heinzchapel.pitt.edu\/visit-2\/hours-tours\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Reserve your spot here<\/a> for the June 17 or June 30 tours. Bring your creativity and design a quilt square for the Pitt Climate Change Quilt. Using repurposed lab coats and scrubs, create a colorful quilt square celebrating pollinators and our shared commitment to a thriving planet.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/calendar.pitt.edu\/event\/habitat-by-hand-building-for-bees-butterflies\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Habitat by Hand: Building for Bees and Butterflies<\/a>, 4-5:30 p.m. June 23 at\u00a0 Center for Creativity, Cathedral of Learning Basement, B50. Pollinators are responsible for one in every three bites of food we eat. Celebrate these environmental powerhouses with the Center for Creativity and Pitt Sustainability by making your own butterfly puddler and bee hotel from recycled materials. No crafting experience needed, all materials provided.
