Tuesday night Erie City Council revisited a decision they made last month with a special meeting at City Hall.<\/p>\n
This comes after just a few weeks ago, council unexpectedly rejected Erie Event\u2019s proposed Market House construction project on the bayfront, turning down the project\u2019s zoning request.<\/p>\n
As of posting, we\u2019re not sure what to expect from the meeting. Just weeks ago, the project was turned down in a 4-2 vote. That vote has completely halted Erie Events\u2019 $14 million waterfront project.<\/p>\n

Previously, council members expressed concerns over an excessive use of taxpayer funds, despite a grant from the Shapiro Administration funding $9 million of the proposal.<\/p>\n
