Florida State<\/a> has another target that they’re trying to get a leg up on in the 2029 recruiting class. They have extended an offer to athlete prospect Coron Russell Jr. out of Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n

“Blessed to Receive a Scholarship Offer from Florida State University!! #AGTG,” Russell announced on social media.<\/p>\n

The 6-foot-3, 205-pounder has already received close to 20 offers. They include the Ohio State Buckeyes<\/a>, Michigan Wolverines<\/a>, Texas A&M Aggies, Washington Huskies<\/a>, Indiana Hoosiers, South Carolina Gamecocks, and more.<\/p>\n

As a freshman, Russell made waves as a safety. He racked up 52 tackles (28 solo), nine tackles for loss, two sacks, and four pass breakups. Russell went on to earn Freshman All-American honors from Rivals and MaxPreps. In addition to his safety duties, Russell also plays some wide receiver.<\/p>\n

He isn’t ranked at the moment, but that will likely change once the 2029 class is updated. Now that he has an offer, the Seminoles need to get him to campus for a visit.<\/p>\n
