Players will wear special navy and orange uniforms featuring a fierce kitty logo and tiger-inspired design elements.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re celebrating 25 seasons as the Detroit Tigers\u2019 Double-A affiliate, so what\u2019s a better way to commemorate that than an alternate identity? So, since they are the Tigers, we are the baby tigers, we\u2019re the Kitties,\u201d said Laina Banic, director of marketing for the Erie SeaWolves.<\/p>\n
The SeaWolves host Akron on Friday night, and fans can catch the Flagship City Kitties on Saturday before the alternate identity returns for two more games in August.<\/p>\n
