Hundreds of people headed to Connell Park Saturday afternoon for a dip in the pool.<\/p>\n<p>Kids splashed around, teens dove in at the deep end, and others found a spot in the shade.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a community space for people of all ages to make fun summer memories for kids like Robbie Spann and Amariyana Johnson.<\/p>\n<p><a data-ylk=\"slk:Keeping the party rocking at the Pocono Raceway;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aol.com\/news\/keeping-party-rocking-pocono-raceway-221335202.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u00a0Keeping the party rocking at the Pocono Raceway\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I like jumping in the pool a lot,&#8221; Scranton resident Robbie Spann said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You get to spend time with your friends and play in the pool,&#8221; Amariyana Johnson from Scranton told 28\/22 News.<\/p>\n<p>Besides the Connell Park Pool, the Weston Park Pool and the Novembrino Splash Pad opened in the Electric City.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media, Inc.
