{"id":218919,"date":"2026-06-14T11:39:19","date_gmt":"2026-06-14T11:39:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/218919\/"},"modified":"2026-06-14T11:39:19","modified_gmt":"2026-06-14T11:39:19","slug":"catholic-charities-of-philadelphia-reports-rise-in-giving-expanded-services-in-latest-annual-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/218919\/","title":{"rendered":"Catholic Charities of Philadelphia Reports Rise in Giving, Expanded Services in Latest Annual Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By CatholicPhilly Staff \u2022 Posted June 12, 2026 <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ccphila.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Catholic Charities of Philadelphia<\/a> assisted more than 205,000 people across the region in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, according to its newly released annual report, which also highlights an increase in charitable giving reflected on the organization\u2019s financials page.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Contributions and bequests rose 32% year over year, increasing from 16.3% to 20.3% of total revenue, reflecting stronger donor support that helped sustain and expand services amid continued high demand.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">About 166,000 experiencing food insecurity and homelessness received assistance, along with 36,000 children and families, 2,500 older adults, and 327 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Catholic Charities reported distributing more than 8.1 million meals through its Community Food Program and federally funded child nutrition initiatives.
