McKeesport, a two-time Pennsylvania high school football state champ, is dealing with more than getting ready for the 2026 high school football season. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s been a week of turmoil in the western Pennsylvania town after rumors began swirling about the entire high school football coaching staff being fired after a Wednesday school board meeting. On Saturday, according to KDKA TV<\/a>, McKeesport Area School District Superintendent Donald MacFann released a statement telling the community that the board did not terminate any football coaches at its June 10 meeting. Instead, directors voted to table the hiring of football coaches due to personnel-related matters.<\/p>\n

While the school district says that summer practice will continue as planned, KDKA also reported Saturday that head coach Matt Miller, who\u2019s 2016 hiring seems to be at the center of the controversy, has resigned.<\/p>\n
