Police believe the motive may have been jealousy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Stephanie Padelski, 35, faces felony charges of burglary, aggravated assault and criminal trespass.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">According to police, officers were called to 720 South Webster Avenue at about 9 p.m. on Thursday for the report of a stabbing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Officers learned that Padelski had illegally entered the residence and stabbed another woman in bed with a man that may have been Padelski\u2019s previous romantic partner.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Padelski who fled the scene, was arrested Friday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Police described the stabbing as an \u201cisolated domestic incident.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Padelski also faces misdemeanor charges of recklessly endangering another person.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The victim\u2019s injuries were not life-threatening. She was treated at Geisinger Community Medical Center and released.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Padelski is \u201cawaiting preliminary hearing,\u201d according to court records.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A South Scranton is accused of stabbing another woman in the arm as she lay in bed.
