Butler was the UFL Offensive Player of the Year this past spring, hauling in 29 passes for a league-leading 641 yards.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">The Iowa State product signed with the Steelers back in May, 2023 after a tryout in rookie minicamp, but didn\u2019t make the 53-man roster. He last appeared on a NFL roster in August, 2024 while spending the preseason with the Cincinnati Bengals.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Butler was a fourth-round pick of the Arizona Cardinals in 2019, but never appeared in a game with Arizona.
