A young man was killed and at least five other people were injured in separate shootings over the weekend across Philadelphia.<\/p>\n
Law enforcement officials said a 19-year-old man was gunned down just after 11:15 p.m. Saturday on the 1700 block of Brill Street, in the Wissinoming section of Northeast Philadelphia<\/a>. Medics declared him dead at the scene.<\/p>\n Authorities have not publicly identified the victim, and the PPD has not released any details about the circumstances surrounding the killing.<\/p>\n Three women were hurt when shots were fired during a fight that occurred at around 12:30 a.m. Sunday in the area of 15th and Clearfield streets in North Philadelphia<\/a>, investigators said.<\/p>\n Two women were involved in an altercation on the ground when a 27-year-old man took out a handgun and pulled the trigger, according to police. All three women \u2013 ages 19, 22 and 30 \u2013 were taken to Temple University Hospital to be treated for nonlife-threatening injuries, law enforcement said.<\/p>\n The victims were transported in private vehicles to Temple, and police said the gunman fled the hospital area in a silver Ford Taurus.<\/p>\n Early Saturday morning, at around 1 a.m., a man and a woman were shot while sitting inside a car on the 2300 block of N. Myrtlewood Street in Strawberry Mansion, according to authorities.<\/p>\n Officers responding to the scene found a 28-year-old woman outside the vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, officials said. She was hospitalized in critical condition, according to the PPD.<\/p>\n Investigators said a 26-year-old man who was shot in his thigh ran to his girlfriend\u2019s house, and she drove him to the hospital, where he was in stable condition.<\/p>\n The man was behind the wheel and the female victim was in the passenger\u2019s seat at the time of the shooting, authorities said.<\/p>\n No arrests have been reported in connection with any of the violence.
