If you are currently on Medicaid, your current renewal date will remain the same and will be shortened after it\u2019s renewed, according to the DHS.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Also, those between the ages of 19 and 64 and who do not have a dependent child under 14 years of age will be required to show that they are meeting work and community engagement requirements. That will be reviewed during the application or renewal, the DHS website says.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">To meet those requirements, you must accumulate 80 hours by work, community service, participating in a work training program, or going to school at least part-time.
