{"id":220889,"date":"2026-06-16T23:17:11","date_gmt":"2026-06-16T23:17:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/220889\/"},"modified":"2026-06-16T23:17:11","modified_gmt":"2026-06-16T23:17:11","slug":"man-found-guilty-of-stabbing-70-year-old-man-in-pittsburgh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/220889\/","title":{"rendered":"Man found guilty of stabbing 70-year-old man in Pittsburgh"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">PITTSBURGH \u2014 A man has been found guilty of stabbing a 70-year-old man in Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">According to court documents, Jasper Hilliard was found guilty of attempted homicide, aggravated assault, burglary, possession of instruments of crime and resisting arrest.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Hilliard was charged in June 2023 after police found a 70-year-old man suffering from a stab wound to his neck in Shadyside.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wpxi.com\/news\/local\/how-could-they-do-it-somebody-like-him-70-year-old-stabbed-shadyside\/4MS2HFILTJH3FJMITFA7Z6AT74\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wpxi.com\/news\/local\/how-could-they-do-it-somebody-like-him-70-year-old-stabbed-shadyside\/4MS2HFILTJH3FJMITFA7Z6AT74\/\">PREVIOUS COVERAGE &gt;&gt;&gt; \u2018How could they do it to somebody like him?\u2019: 70-year-old stabbed in Shadyside<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Investigators said he then broke into a nearby home, covered in blood. He changed into a clean shirt in front of two witnesses who were still inside the house.
