A hacker fired off a series of \u201cincredibly offensive\u201d emails purporting to be from the University of Pennsylvania that slammed its \u201cwoke\u201d staff and student body of \u201cmorons.\u201d<\/p>\n

The scathing message \u2014 sent multiple times \u2014 featured the Ivy League school\u2019s Graduate School of Education letterhead and was sent from multiple University-affiliated email addresses.<\/p>\n

The subject line read \u201cWe got hacked,\u201d according to a\u00a0copy obtained by Fox News.<\/a><\/p>\n

\"AnAn email with the University of Pennsylvania\u2019s Graduate School of Education letterhead was sent out calling the school a \u201cdogs\u2013t elitist institution full of woke r\u2014\u2014.\u201d reddit<\/p>\n

\u201cThe University of Pennsylvania is a dogs\u2013t elitist institution full of woke retards. We have terrible security practices and are completely unmeritocratic,\u201d the email stated.\u201d<\/p>\n

We hire and admit morons because we love legacies, donors, and unqualified affirmative action admits. We love breaking federal laws like FERPA (all your data will be leaked) and Supreme Court rulings like SFFA.<\/p>\n

The email concluded: \u201cPlease stop giving us money.\u201d<\/p>\n

Some students reported receiving the harsh message as many as six times.<\/p>\n

The school did not immediately respond to The Post\u2019s request for comment, but said in a statement on its website that the \u201cfraudulent emails\u201d were under investigation by the University\u2019s Office of Information Security.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll of the emails are incredibly offensive and in no way reflective of Penn or Penn GSE\u2019s mission or values. We sincerely apologize for the harm this has caused and is causing. Over and above the inconvenience of getting your inboxes spammed, these emails are hurtful and upsetting,\u201d\u00a0UPenn stated.<\/a><\/p>\n

Officials are reportedly denying that the graduate school\u2019s account was hacked, according to internal\u00a0messages obtained by The Daily Pennsylvanian<\/a>,\u00a0a University of Pennsylvania student newspaper.<\/p>\n

\"University\u201cA fraudulent email has been circulated,\u201d the school said. \u201cThis is obviously a fake, and nothing in the highly offensive, hurtful message reflects the mission or actions of Penn or of Penn GSE.\u201d Lee \u2013 stock.adobe.com<\/p>\n

\u201cThese emails are being received by individuals outside of UPenn as well. It appears that some email list, which is beyond our control, was accessed by malicious individuals who then sent out these messages,\u201d wrote Elizabeth Cooper, the school\u2019s IT help desk manager, emphasizing that UPenn\u2019s Annenberg School for Communication \u201chas not been hacked.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added that, \u201cAt this time, there is nothing for us to do, but we wanted to keep you informed.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not the first time that UPenn students have been victims of fraudulent emails.<\/p>\n

Last year, a significant number of students received fake messages appearing to impersonate the communications from the University Board of Trustees that referred to the school as \u201cbeholden to the richest, scummiest people out there.\u201d<\/p>\n

It also claimed former President Liz Magill would return to her post \u201cafter nearly three months of timeout.\u201d<\/p>\n
