Just weeks ago, the project was turned down in a 4-2 vote. That vote has completely halted Erie Events&#8217; $14 million waterfront project.<\/p>\n<p>On the screen now\u2026you can see renderings of what that completed bayfront market house project could look like if council does decide to approve it this evening\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Previously, council members expressed concerns over an excessive use of taxpayer funds, despite a grant from the Shapiro Administration funding $9 million of the proposal.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media, Inc.
