Edmond was also convicted of Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Assault and Aggravated Assault.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Erie County District Attorney&#8217;s Office, Eady was beaten to death on Oct. 30, 2024, near the intersection of West 26th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue in Erie.<\/p>\n<p>During the trial, prosecutors Jeremy Lightner and Brendan Sala presented video evidence, testimony from a cooperating co-defendant, and physical evidence. Prosecutors argued that Edmond threatened Eady, drove around searching for him, and ultimately beat him to death after locating him.<\/p>\n<p>The jury returned guilty verdicts on all three charges following deliberations.<\/p>\n<p>Edmond is scheduled to be sentenced on Aug. 7, 2026, before Erie County Judge John J.
