SOUTH WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. – An event celebrating Caribbean and Latin American culture with food, music, and dancing is coming back to Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom<\/a> this summer.<\/p>\n

Viva La Fiesta will take place on select weekends from June 20 through July 26.<\/p>\n

The event takes place Saturdays and Sundays beginning at 5 p.m. through park close.<\/p>\n

In a news release, the park said Viva La Fiesta will not be offered July 4 and 5, when the park will celebrate Star-Spangled Nights presented by M&M\u2019s\u00ae, a separate limited-time event featuring patriotic entertainment, fireworks and more.<\/p>\n

The park says Viva La Fiesta includes live performances, specialty food and beverage offerings, immersive experiences, and access to the park\u2019s rides and attractions.<\/p>\n

\u201cViva La Fiesta is more than an event, it is an invitation for guests to experience the energy, flavors and traditions that make these cultures so vibrant,\u201d said park manager Kim Solis.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom live music and dancing to incredible food and thrilling rides, it is a celebration that brings people together in a fun and meaningful way.\u201d<\/p>\n

The park says performers include:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Manteca Blue & The Latin Corner\u00a0\u2014 The acclaimed ensemble delivers a dynamic Latin jazz fusion performance, blending Afro-Caribbean, Colombian and African influences into a vibrant sound that reflects the culture and traditions of Viva La Fiesta.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Rumbamena\u00a0\u2014 Rumbamena brings dancers from around the world to Dorney Park for an authentic celebration of salsa, samba and other captivating Latin dance traditions, the park says.<\/p>\n

\u201cThrough vibrant choreography and passionate performances, the group brings to life the culture and spirited traditions of Viva La Fiesta,\u201d the park says.<\/p>\n

\u2022 \u00a1Wepa! Summer Fiesta\u00a0\u2014 A lively, interactive finale brings performers together for a vibrant celebration of music, dance and audience participation under the stars.<\/p>\n

The park says Viva La Fiesta also features a variety of Latin-inspired cuisine and refreshing beverages.<\/p>\n

Menu highlights include carne asada tacos, chicken tinga tacos, empanadas de picadillo and tostones with mojito sauce, as well as sweet treats like tres leches funnel cake and bolinhos de chuva, the park said in its news release.<\/p>\n

Handcrafted beverages include mangonada tequila lemonade, pi\u00f1a colada rum limeade and nonalcoholic Caribbean colada.<\/p>\n

According to the park, guests can enjoy activities such as interactive color-by-number mural experiences, festive midway games and themed photo opportunities\u00a0designed for guests of all ages.<\/p>\n
