{"id":222802,"date":"2026-06-19T01:34:09","date_gmt":"2026-06-19T01:34:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/222802\/"},"modified":"2026-06-19T01:34:09","modified_gmt":"2026-06-19T01:34:09","slug":"nazareth-man-arrested-for-threatening-to-shoot-person-over-money-in-palmer-township-easton-area","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/222802\/","title":{"rendered":"Nazareth man arrested for threatening to shoot person over money in Palmer Township | Easton Area"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PALMER TOWNSHIP, Pa. \u2014 Palmer Township police arrested a Nazareth man on Friday for allegedly threatening to shoot someone over a monetary dispute.<\/p>\n<p>Stephen Coppo, 37, is facing charges of terroristic threats and harassment.<\/p>\n<p>According to police, officers were dispatched around 10:30 a.m. on June 12 to a home on the 1000 block of South 25th Street following reports of a dispute.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities said Coppo threatened to shoot the victim in the back of the head before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Coppo and, with assistance from the Nazareth Police Department, located him at a home in Nazareth.
