Free Museum Days: Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center<\/p>\n

About: The Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center is the historic site of Philadelphia’s first pumping station, a building that has stood for over 200 years. Housing activities for all ages, visitors can visit the Fresh Water Musel Lab, interactive displays, and a movie about the Center’s history. <\/p>\n
Free Museum Days: Ebenezer Maxwell Mansion<\/p>\n
When: 11a.m. to 3 p.m.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Where:\u00a0Ebenezer Maxwell Mansion, 200 West Tulpehocken Street, Philadelphia, PA 19144\u00a0<\/p>\n
About: The Ebenezer Maxwell Mansion is Philadelphia’s only Victorian house museum, featuring tours taking visitors through daily life during the Civil War and Gilded Age. <\/p>\n
Free Museum Days: Historic Rittenhouse Town<\/p>\n
When: 12 p.m. to 4 p.m\u00a0.<\/p>\n

About: The Historic Rittenhouse Town houses a series of 17th and 18th century buildings, all situated in the birthplace of David Rittenhouse, the first director of the United States Mint. <\/p>\n
Free Museum Days: Paul Robeson House and Museum<\/p>\n
When: 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.\u00a0<\/p>\n

About: The Paul Robeson House and Museum offers visitors an immersive look inside the life, legacy, and impact of artist and social justice activist Paul Robeson. <\/p>\n

Free Movie Days <\/p>\n
When: Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans (1927) at 2 p.m., A Star is Born (1937) at 4 p.m.<\/p>\n
Where: Philadelphia Film\u00a0Center, 1412 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA, 19102\u00a0<\/p>\n
About: The Philadelphia Film Society is offering two-weeks of free movie screenings by and about Philadelphia. All films will be showing at the Main Screen at the Center.<\/p>\n
Philly Fair 250 – Day 1<\/p>\n
When: 2 p.m.\u00a0to\u00a09 p.m.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Where: Centennial District, Avenue of the Republic & E Memorial Hall Drive\u00a0<\/p>\n
About: New to Wawa Welcome America this year is the Philly Fair 250. Food trucks\u00a0will serve dishes representing\u00a0flavors\u00a0from America’s original 13 colonies. Skilled instructors will be leading trapeze lessons and hot air balloon rides. The National Liberty Museum will display a life-sized replica of Liberty Bell. Stay until the end of the night, where Gerald Veasley\u2019s Unscripted Jazz featuring vocalist Carol Riddic and bassist Gerald Veasley will take the stage, followed by a fireworks display at Welsh Fountain.<\/p>\n
Parking for Philly Fair 250 will be available at the Philadelphia Zoo at the Giraffe Lot on Girard Avenue from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nighttime parking will be available in the Zoo Garage on Girard Avenue and the Tiger Lot on 34th Street from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.<\/p>\n
