The Northampton County Coroner\u2019s Office has identified two men killed when a motorcyclist struck an electric bicyclist <\/a>Friday evening near the Minsi Trail Bridge in Bethlehem<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The coroner\u2019s office says 24-year-old Colin M. Gale of Quakertown and 46-year-old Blas Fermin of Bethlehem died in the crash.<\/p>\n

Both died from blunt force trauma and the manner for each was ruled accidental by Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek.<\/p>\n

Police Chief Michelle Kott<\/a> told lehighvalleylive.com they crashed just after 7 p.m. Friday at Route 412 and Stefko Boulevard.<\/p>\n

Gale was headed east on Daly Avenue on a Kawasaki motorcycle while a 25-year old man from Bethlehem was headed the same way on a CF Moto motorcycle, Kott said.<\/p>\n

Fermin was riding his electric bicycle south through the marked crosswalk, and Gale drove through a green light and struck Fermin in the right lane, Kott said.<\/p>\n

The impact forced Gale\u2019s motorcycle into the left lane, where it struck the CF Moto motorcycle. Both riders were thrown from their motorcycles, she said.<\/p>\n

Lysek told lehighvalleylive.com both men were pronounced dead at the scene. The CF Moto operator was taken to St. Luke\u2019s University Hospital in Fountain Hill <\/a>for treatment of his injuries. His condition was not immediately available Thursday morning.<\/p>\n

Witnesses to the crash are being sought. Those with information are asked to call Bethlehem Police Officer Stephen Brailo at 610-997-7666.<\/p>\n

Bethlehem police and the Northampton County Coroner\u2019s Office continue to investigate the collision.<\/p>\n
