{"id":225012,"date":"2026-06-22T15:34:07","date_gmt":"2026-06-22T15:34:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/225012\/"},"modified":"2026-06-22T15:34:07","modified_gmt":"2026-06-22T15:34:07","slug":"campbells-to-appoint-nippert-and-jolly-in-transformation-and-communication-roles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/225012\/","title":{"rendered":"Campbell\u2019s to appoint Nippert and Jolly in transformation and communication roles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecampbellscompany.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">The Campbell\u2019s Company<\/a> in Camden has announced two leadership transitions within its operating committee.<\/p>\n<p>Dan Poland, executive vice president and chief enterprise transformation officer, and Anthony Sanzio, executive vice president and chief communications officer, plan to retire at the end of Campbell\u2019s fiscal year.<\/p>\n<p>Melissa Nippert will succeed Poland as senior vice president and chief transformation officer, and Beth Jolly will succeed Sanzio as senior vice president and chief communications officer.<\/p>\n<p>Nippert joined Campbell\u2019s in 2022 to lead supply chain transformation and has since expanded her responsibilities to include enterprise excellence and transformation.<\/p>\n<p>In her new role, Nippert will continue to lead change and support the company\u2019s growth agenda as a member of the operating committee, reporting to the company\u2019s President and Chief Executive Officer, Mick Beekhuizen.<\/p>\n<p>With 23 years at Campbell\u2019s, Jolly most recently led communications for the company\u2019s business divisions and growth office. She held previous roles at the company, directing sales communications, internal and executive communications and brand public relations.<\/p>\n<p>In her new role, she will be responsible for the company\u2019s internal and external communications, as well as The Campbell\u2019s Foundation and community affairs initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>She will report to Diane Johnson May, executive vice president and chief people and culture officer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMelissa has a proven transformation track record and has played a key role in advancing this work at Campbell\u2019s,\u201d said Beekhuizen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBeth is a highly respected communications leader with strong partnerships across the organization and is well-positioned to expand her impact in this role.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese transitions reflect our thoughtful succession planning and development of talent with experienced leaders ready to build on our momentum.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Poland joined Campbell\u2019s in 2022 as executive vice president and chief supply chain officer. In 2024, he expanded his role to lead enterprise transformation, building critical capabilities across key functional areas with a focus on continuous improvement.<\/p>\n<p>Sanzio has been with Campbell\u2019s for almost 20 years, leading the company\u2019s communications function for more than a decade.<\/p>\n<p>During that time, he supported four CEOs and provided strategic communications guidance through an evolving business and media landscape.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Campbell\u2019s Company in Camden has announced two leadership transitions within its operating committee.
