The motorcyclist who was shot by a police officer after a road rage incident in Bensalem has been released from the hospital.<\/p>\n

44-year-old John Mathis is being held on a $1 million bail for a different road rage incident.<\/p>\n

Police say Mathis had an active warrant against him from a July 27th incident where he allegedly used a baseball bat to smash a windshield.<\/p>\n

Charges for Saturday’s Bensalem incident are still pending.<\/p>\n

Mathis allegedly pointed a gun at people in a car before following them down Bristol Pike.<\/p>\n

Police say he rammed his motorcycle into the side of a police cruiser before running away, armed with a handgun.<\/p>\n
