President Donald Trump will visit Lower Macungie Township on Tuesday afternoon to deliver a speech at Mack Trucks.<\/p>\n
The visit was confirmed last week by Republican U.S. Reps. Ryan Mackenzie and Dan Meuser.<\/p>\n

How will the visit impact traffic?<\/p>\n
State police said to expect delays between noon and 5 p.m. in Lehigh and Berks counties, specifically on Route 222 in both counties, and on Route 100 in Lehigh. Secondary roads in those areas will also likely be affected, police said.<\/p>\n
Is the visit open to the public?<\/p>\n
It is a ticketed event. As of Monday afternoon, the link<\/a> to register for tickets \u2014 two per mobile number \u2014 was still live. According to the site, the president is expected to speak at 2 p.m.<\/p>\n What will the president be speaking about?<\/p>\n A White House spokesperson told the Philadelphia Inquirer on Monday<\/a> that Trump will talk about investments in American manufacturing and job growth, and will \u201cstand with the American workers he has fought for.\u201d<\/p>\n He also discussed the economy during his last visit to the region, in Mount Pocono in December 2025.<\/p>\n Why the Lehigh Valley?<\/p>\n The president has made multiple visits to the Lehigh Valley over the past few years, including the PPL Center in Allentown ahead of the 2024 election.<\/a>\u00a0He stopped in Schnecksville about six months before that<\/a>.<\/p>\n Vice President JD Vance visited Uline<\/a> in Lower Macungie Township in December, also to talk about the economy.<\/p>\n
