{"id":226000,"date":"2026-06-23T17:36:09","date_gmt":"2026-06-23T17:36:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/226000\/"},"modified":"2026-06-23T17:36:09","modified_gmt":"2026-06-23T17:36:09","slug":"allegheny-general-hospital-completes-19-million-cardiac-lab-expansion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/226000\/","title":{"rendered":"Allegheny General Hospital completes $19 million cardiac lab expansion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">PITTSBURGH \u2014 A $19 million expansion of Allegheny General Hospital\u2019s cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs has been completed at the AHN Cardiovascular Institute.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">AGH\u2019s AHN Cardiovascular Institute now has all of its facilities on the same floor at Allegheny General Hospital, which is AHN\u2019s largest hospital on the North Side of Pittsburgh and an academic medical center. It has three catheterization labs, three electrophysiology labs, two procedural rooms and a hybrid surgical suite that can be used for either catheterization or electrophysiology procedures.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The renovation of existing space and the expansion are part of AHN Allegheny General\u2019s Mario Lemieux Center for Heart Rhythm Care.
