Robinson Jean Paul Moncada Patarroyo, Daniel Alejandro Garcia Arenas, and Yeison Estiven Gonzalez Rodriguez were identified following a coordinated investigation into four burglary-related incidents in the Neshaminy Valley section of Bensalem Township between 6 p.m. and 8:10 p.m. on Jan. 31, according to Bensalem Township Police.<\/p>\n
In three of the cases, suspects attempted to enter homes through rear doors or windows but were stopped by homeowners or alarm systems, police said. A fourth home was forcibly entered and burglarized.<\/p>\n
Detectives determined all four incidents were connected and used surveillance footage, witness statements, and Automated License Plate Readers to identify vehicles and develop suspects, authorities said.<\/p>\n
The investigation revealed similarities to other burglaries reported across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut, prompting a multi-agency effort involving Bensalem Township Police, the Montgomery County District Attorney\u2019s Office Detective Division, Rice Township Police in Luzerne County, West Windsor Police in New Jersey, and the NYPD Burglary Unit.<\/p>\n
All three suspects were located and taken into custody, police said. Investigators believe they are members of an organized burglary crew operating out of the Queens section of New York City and tied to a larger South American theft group.<\/p>\n
The trio has been charged with burglary and related offenses in multiple jurisdictions, including Bensalem and Warrington townships in Bucks County; Franconia, Montgomery, and Lower Salford townships in Montgomery County; and Rice Township in Luzerne County, authorities said.<\/p>\n
Garcia Arenas had a preliminary arraignment before Magisterial District Judge Rebar in Montgomery County on Wednesday, April 1, resulting in his commitment to Montgomery County Correctional Facility, according to police.<\/p>\n
Moncada Patarroyo and Gonzalez Rodriguez remain in custody in out-of-state prisons and are awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n
Police credited the investigation\u2019s success to coordination between multiple agencies, citing information sharing and joint efforts as key in identifying and apprehending the suspects.<\/p>\n
