A Philadelphia woman accused by the victim’s family of fatally stabbing her ex-boyfriend’s girlfriend during a domestic dispute is now wanted for homicide, police announced on Wednesday, June 24.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Zayahshay Davis, 24, is wanted for her alleged involvement in the fatal stabbing of 28-year-old Sariah Conover, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.<\/p>\n

The stabbing happened in the 1300 block of West Lehigh Avenue at approximately 5:52 p.m. on Monday, June 22, police said.<\/p>\n

Conover was rushed to a hospital following the attack but later died from her injuries, according to a memorial fundraiser organized by her family.<\/p>\n

Police announced on Wednesday, June 24, that Davis is being sought by the department’s Homicide Unit in connection with the killing. Authorities released a wanted notice and are asking for the public’s help in locating her.<\/p>\n

A GoFundMe<\/a> created by Conover’s sister, Seyveonna Conover, describes the victim as a talented hairstylist who brought people together through her “warm heart” and caring nature.<\/p>\n

“My sister was a big sister of four, a younger sister of one, a cherished granddaughter, and a beloved niece to so many in our family,” the fundraiser reads.<\/p>\n

Her family said she “had a special gift for bringing people together” and “always found ways to make those around her feel cared for and supported.”<\/p>\n

The fundraiser further alleges Conover was stabbed to death by her ex-boyfriend’s child’s mother. Police have not publicly released details about the relationship between Davis and Conover.<\/p>\n

As of Wednesday afternoon, more than $700 had been raised toward a $5,000 goal to help cover funeral and memorial expenses.<\/p>\n
