HANOVER TWP., Pa. – Lehigh Valley International Airport saw increased activity in May, thanks in part to more flight options for travelers including the return of popular destinations Denver and Nashville, the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority said in a news release.<\/p>\n
The LNAA says last month, 91,606 passengers used LVIA, a 4.75% increase from May 2025.<\/p>\n

By the numbers, United Airlines increased 13.4%, Allegiant jumped 6.6% and Delta was up 2.9%, according to the LNAA.<\/p>\n
The LNAA says American Airlines dipped 6% compared to last May.<\/p>\n
American Airlines started nonstop service from LVIA to O\u2019Hare International Airport on June 4. Daily departures are scheduled for approximately 6 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. or 5:15\u00a0p.m.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn spite of a challenging winter, it\u2019s been a strong start to the year at ABE with our annual surge of summer vacationers and family getaways rapidly approaching,\u201d said Thomas R. Stoudt, Executive Director, Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority.<\/p>\n
25.7 million pounds of air cargo was processed through LVIA last month, a decrease of 10.2% from May 2025.<\/p>\n
