\t\t\tOBITUARY\t\t<\/p>\n
Ronald Ronnie Terbovich, of Mount Pocono, PA, passed away on June 11, 2026, after a brief illness. He was born in Scranton on November 28, 1948 to the late Michael and Mary (Rostosky) Terbovich. Ron attended South Scranton Jr. High and Technical High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Germany. It was during this time that he earned his GED. Ron was employed at Roadway Express, where he worked as a truck driver for several decades prior to his retirement. Operating as a general contractor, he built fifteen homes in the Poconos.<\/p>\n
\nOutside of work Ron enjoyed spending time and making memories with his family, whom he loved above all else. He lived a simple life and enjoyed handyman projects, being outdoors in nature, observing wildlife, feeding the birds and caring for his pets. He was a devoted friend and was always willing to help someone in need. A man of compassion, he donated to local shelters and many national\/internation organizations. Ron will be remembered as a man of faith who regularly endeared himself to his family as he read self-composed prayers of Grace prior to every family celebratory meal.<\/p>\n
\nRonald is survived by his daughter Kyra (Scott) Castle, wife Janet, sister Sharon (Terrence) Chambers, nieces Diana Terbovich Hill and Brianna Chambers, and nephews Michael (Brittany) and Ryan (Eileen) Terbovich, as well as grand nieces and grand nephews, Ryan and Maya Terbovich, Nicolina and Michael Terbovich, and Milan Hill. He was preceded in death by his brothers Michael and Brian.<\/p>\n
\nOn Friday, June 26th, at 11:30 a.m., a Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Parish, Cresco, PA, 236 PA-390. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst, PA.<\/p>\n
