L\u00e9elo en espa\u00f1ol aqu\u00ed<\/a><\/p>\nOfficers were first called to the 2400 block of West Cambria Street around 7:12 p.m. on June 25 after the sounds of a fight and of gunfire were reported, officials said.<\/p>\n
When the officers got to the scene, Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said they found a 16-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg.<\/p>\n
The boy was taken to a nearby hospital where his condition is not known. <\/p>\n
No arrests have been made yet but officials said that the suspected gunman was described as wearing all dark clothing and blue surgical gloves. <\/p>\n
Then, just after 9 p.m. officers were called to the area of North 26th Street and Allegheny Avenue after a 911 caller reported gunshots, according to Chief Inspector Small. <\/p>\n
When officers got there, they said they found a 17-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. <\/p>\n
He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was placed in stable condition. <\/p>\n
Detectives have uncovered that the shooter exited a property on the 3200 block of North 25th Street around the time of the shooting. <\/p>\n
Inspector Small explained that officers were able to get the people inside the property to come out and are questioning them as part of the investigation. <\/p>\n
The Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigation Group is investigating and officials are looking to see if these two shootings are connected. <\/p>\n
