Fireworks are scheduled throughout the southeastern Pennsylvania region to celebrate the Fourth of July and the 250th anniversary<\/a> of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, also known as America\u2019s Semiquincentennial.<\/p>\n

Berks<\/p>\n

Star-Spangled Spectacular Berks County<\/a> will showcase the spirit of community through live music, family activities, local food vendors, a patriotic concert by the Reading Symphony Orchestra, and a spectacular fireworks finale.<\/p>\n

Where: Berks County Fair Grounds, 1216 Hilltop Road, Bern Township.<\/p>\n

When: Saturday, July 4. Gates open at noon, event starts at 2 p.m. Fireworks to begin at approximately 9:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

50th Annual Greater Governor Mifflin League Community Day<\/a>s will be celebrated June 26 to July 4. The fair includes rides, food, free entertainment, a parade, historic re-enactments and a pageant.<\/p>\n

Where: Gov. Mifflin Intermediate and Elementary school grounds<\/a>, Shillington.<\/p>\n

Upper Darby Independence Celebration<\/a> runs from 7 to 10 p.m. and features feature family-friendly activities, food vendors, and music at Bonner Prendie High School Field.<\/p>\n

Where: Monsignor Bonner & Archbishop Prendergast Catholic High School, 403 N. Lansdowne Ave, Drexel Hill<\/p>\n

Upper Merion Township Annual July 4 celebration<\/a> includes food, carnival, rides and games.<\/p>\n

Where: Heuser Park, King of Prussia<\/p>\n

When: Saturday, July 4, approximately 9:15 p.m. Celebration runs 3 to 10 p.m.<\/p>\n

The Pottstown GoFourth! Festival<\/a> features live music, local food vendors, family activities, living history demonstrations, Rally Alley, and Grandpop Bubbles, along with free tethered hot air balloon rides, face painting, and caricatures.<\/p>\n
