(WHTM)\u2013 There have been 81 measles cases in Pennsylvania so far in 2026, many of which have been in the Midstate.<\/p>\n
According to the Pennsylvania Department of Health, four Midstate counties have some of the 81 confirmed measles cases in the state since the start of the year.<\/p>\n
York and Dauphin counties have seen fewer cases, with one reported in York and two in Dauphin County since the start of January.<\/p>\n
The numbers in Lebanon and Lancaster counties tell a different story. According to the Department of Health, there have been 20 reported cases in Lebanon County since the start of the year, and 38 in Lancaster County.<\/p>\n
The numbers for the two make up more than half of the state\u2019s confirmed cases this year.
