(WMTV) &#8211; On June 27, 1778, the iconic Liberty Bell returned to Philadelphia, after the British left the city.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The bell was brought back in a procession to the Pennsylvania State House.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The celebration ended a seven-month stretch where the Liberty Bell was hidden under the floorboards of a church in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
