{"id":229866,"date":"2026-06-27T20:41:32","date_gmt":"2026-06-27T20:41:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/229866\/"},"modified":"2026-06-27T20:41:32","modified_gmt":"2026-06-27T20:41:32","slug":"rankin-shooting-2-teens-shot-after-4-masked-suspects-open-fire-police-say","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/229866\/","title":{"rendered":"RANKIN SHOOTING: 2 teens shot after 4 masked suspects open fire, police say"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">RANKIN, Pa. \u2014 Two teenage boys were shot in Rankin Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">According to Allegheny County police, 911 was notified of a shooting in the 300 block of Fourth Avenue at 1:49 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">First responders arrived to find the two teens, who\u2019d been shot multiple times.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">They were taken to an area hospital and are in stable condition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Preliminary information shows four unknown, masked males approached the teens and started shooting, police say.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The suspects reportedly fled toward Third Avenue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Police tell Channel 11 that the shooting started in the street and then moved toward a nearby church. One of the victims reportedly ran to the church\u2019s steps seeking help.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Three vehicles were also struck by gunfire.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Anyone with information is asked to call the County Police Tip Line 1-833-ALL-TIPS.
